Kinsmen Engineering is a family-owned and operated business

Errol Palmer was a foreman in WECO, another local engineering company, when his family purchased Kinsman Engineering in 1986. Errol, a Whangarei local, now owns and operates the business.

In the past, Kinsmen Engineering had concentrated on servicing, repairs and maintenance for the tankers at Marsden Point. Now the business is more focused on heavy fabrication, machining and repairs and maintenance for commercial buildings and the motor and transport industry, while also promoting the unique environmentally-friendly product Plaztuff™.
